Each year, the Fund allows 2,800 disadvantaged children to attend a free performance of The Nutcracker and to participate in educational workshops.
Une école montréalaise pour tous (Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport du Québec) chooses schools at random from Montreal’s most disadvantaged communities to participate in the program. Thanks to generous contributions from businesses and individuals, 27,400 children have so far experienced this unique holiday magic. The Fund also serves to annually refurbish the sets and costumes for The Nutcracker.
